Casablanca Living is a Luxury, 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, Hacienda Style, Private Rental Home with a Large Pool and expansive garden, in the Heart Of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

We bought this home semi-renovated in 2010, but there was literally no garden, no pathways, no Cabana, no Third bedroom and needed a massive amount of love. We spent nearly 13 years restoring it, decorating it and making it feel like a true oasis in the middle of Centro Historico.

Soon after making it feel homy and able to live in comfortably, we purchased the house across the street from the front doors of Casablanca. We renovated that home (Called Casa Negra) where we live 75% of the time, as we rent Casablanca throughout the year through Airbnb.com and VRBO.com. The other 25% of the time we randomly cross the street allowing ourselves some time to enjoy the house, let our animals stretch their legs in the large, manacured garden, while they watch Iguana’s, Posums and other cats walk the tops of the 11 foot walls and chase some tropical bugs, while allowing my wife’s Mom (who lives with us at Casa Negra) have some freedom from us. Basically giving us all some breathing room and independence.
